In 2017, this new type of rodent was discovered. As of September 27, 2020, these rodents were reported to have spread all over the world. Probably through shipping containers. Since then, there has been no sign of a slow down, increasing to a population of 50 million+.
Where Can They be Found?
Sometimes they can be found under children’s toys, under couches and beds and some times they hitch hike into children’s backpacks.
What Can I do About it?
I contacted the local animal control and pest control businesses but they all had something common to say, you can keep them at bay by ensuring that children keep their rooms clean and to keep the house organized. By doing this, you will be able to keep track of how many you have.
What Do They Even Look Like?
Some say that they look disgusting and ugly. Others think they are cute and cuddly looking. Grab your kids and take a look here. I have been told that children love having them in the house, but I can’t imagine why.
